Green Bay plumbing subcontractors for the electrical

Terry Demmon, a partner with the real estate and development firm Demmon Partners, announced today that Demmon Partners has committed to using a minimum of four unions in the construction of the San Lorenzo Village Green project. The commitment was made in a letter sent last week to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors.

We will hire union subcontractors for the electrical, sprinkler fitter, earthworkgrading and structural concrete work at the project , stated Demmon. We have made this commitment regardless of whether we receive lower bids on this work from qualified non-union contractors. This commitment also applies regardless of whether or not a group of four trade unions continue to oppose our project on baseless environmental grounds. Should the four trade unions succeed in delaying or scuttling our project, however, they will be jeopardizing work for their own members.

San Lorenzo is a great community. Yet, for more than 20 years a series of empty asphalt lots have been at its center. Demmon added. The Village Green project will bring vitally needed housing and retail establishments to a blighted area, helping to create a downtown for San Lorenzo.
