Dr. Edwards grew up in the small town of Crab Orchard, KY. As a child, she tried to bring home every stray or injured animal she could find, so its no surprise she grew up to become a veterinarian. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Kentucky in 2008 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University in 2012. She currently resides in Louisville with her husband, son, four cats, two dogs, and an ever-growing flock of chickens. Her interests in veterinary medicine include feline medicine, nutrition, rehabilitation, and soft tissue surgery. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to the mountains, visiting breweries and wineries, and attempting to garden and keep her house plants alive. She is an avid cat enthusiast and is always hoping to bring home a new cat.Dr. Edwards will be available to see your pets Wednesday through Friday and most weekends.
