Election day is upon us and we wanted to take a few moments to thank you for your patience and consideration as we have communicated with you over the issues in the campaign. We are grateful to provide this last opportunity to tell you about our team platform and why we are running for election this year.

For the last decade, Mayor Belmont and Harrison Republicans have transformed our Town and made it one of the best places to live in New York State. They fixed the Towns finances -- achieving Moodys highest AAA rating -- and created smart economic development.

Every Town road has been repaved during the last 10 years and the Department of Public Works is starting its next 10-year paving project. The Town has made significant environmental investments, including the acquisition of large tracts of open space, beautification of our parkland and the conversion of a Brownfield site that was a former junkyard into a wonderful, new park that will be available to every Town resident.

We have been proactive in the repurposing of Westchester Avenue to install better uses than vacant office buildings. By prioritizing smart growth polices, Mayor Belmont, Rich and the Republican Team have succeeded in growing its tax base to create jobs and protect residential property taxpayers, while preserving open space.
