Fairbanks travel

Early voting starts today, and you can vote until Election Day on November 6th.Over the last seven months Ive had the opportunity to travel all over interior Alaska and meet with folks around campfires and cups of coffee, and I am very grateful for the experience of it. Getting the chance to meet with folks from Northway to Minto, Venetie to Eagle, Chena Hot Springs Road to Chitina, Gulkana to Cantwell, Two Rivers to Tetlin, has been one of the great experiences of my life. I also want to thank everyone from my hometown of Fort Yukon, and all of our Gwichin communities, for the tremendous support! Over the last two weeks I will still be getting out knocking on doors, sending you mail, and talking to you on the radio and here on social media.Thank you to everyone for donating to the campaign, for volunteering, for opening up your homes, for informing me of what the local needs are, and for meeting me around the camp fire. This country reflects the people that vote, and if all of the people Ive met in our communities get out and vote I think well be doing just fine.Working together we can improve our educational system, create opportunities for our children, support our University, fix our roads, improve healthcare, honor our commitments to our elders and retirees, protect our PFD, support science, and our ways of life, and make Alaska an even better place to live.
