Dr. Ford said she was 100 sure that she was sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh at a party back when they were in high school. Brett Kavanaugh denies having been at the party described by Dr. Ford. President Trump has ordered an FBI investigation into additional allegations of sexual misconduct by Kavanaugh, to be completed by Friday October 5th. Regarding that investigation, Presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway said, We trust the hardworking men and women of the FBI to do their jobs, and they will determine what will be included within that scope. She did add, Its not meant to be a fishing expedition. Jeff Flake on the Senate Judicary committee, after hearing pleas from a female victim of sexual assault, was primarily responsible for delaying a floor vote on Kavanaughs nomination for one week while the FBI conducts an investigation. Democrats are accused of making a charade of this judicial nomination with the hope of derailing it. Republicans are accused of trying to ram through this process and get Kavannaugh on the Bench before the November election. What your take on this situation? How do you think its going to turn out?
