Virginia Beach accounting

Virginia ranks the 2nd WORST state in America to start a small business. The onerous, unfair business taxes like the War of 1812 tax. Taxes on staplers. Pages and pages of declarations. Its an administrative nightmare that hurts small businesses. As Commissioner, we will support small businesses again.

This is an elected office, so I am now running for Treasurer of Virginia Beach. I have 18 years experience in the office, to include being the Accounting and Investments Administrator and Chief Deputy Treasurer. I am a Master Governmental Deputy Treasurer in the Treasurers Association of Virginia. I hold two Bachelors Degrees, one in Accounting and one in Finance from ODU. I am the clear choice for Treasurer. Experience matters when it comes to serving the citizens of Virginia Beach.

I have 21 years of experience, a bachelors in both Accounting Finance and certifications relevant to specific Treasurers Office functions. I will continue to work with citizens and businesses in a fair, compassionate and open manner.
