Today at the Momentous Sports Center in Irvine, some of the top travel ball teams in the country will compete at the adidas Gauntlet West Qualifier. Top divisions will feature above-the-rim basketball college coaches will be in attendance. Games will be officiated by several top varsity and NCAA referees.Format 16-minute stop clock halves. Games are scheduled every hour and five minutes.At the Laguna Niguel YMCA, 15 miles south of Momentous, volunteer coaches and kids ranging from 6-12 years old will conclude their winter season with some playoff and All-Star games. Since these kids are beginners, they travel on nearly every possession, with referees entrusted to call only the most egregious of violations. Format 7-minute periods RUNNING CLOCK.
