Lakewood travel council and the administration to plan

I have been an advocate for complete streets on Lakewood Planning Commission and as Director of Real Estate at Cleveland Metroparks. A complete streets approach integrates people and place in planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of our streets. This ensures we place safety over speed, balance the needs of different modes of travel, and support local land uses, residents, and businesses. Lakewood has been a leader in the region in beginning to implement complete streets, but there is more work to be done. On Lakewood City Council, I would work with council and the administration to plan, obtain public input, design, and implement a complete streets approach. The complete streets approach would increase safety, decrease car speeds, and improve the bicycle regional transportation network.
