Vista pets includes a covered shelter for shade

Buenaventura Lakes residents in the area of Lake Villas and Lago Vista off of Royal Palm Drive have access to a new dog park. The park features a quarter-mile, shaded paved path that leads to a natural grass dog exercise area. Two areas are present -- one for small dogs and another for dogs 30 pounds and up. The area includes a covered shelter for shade, two drinking fountains for both humans and dogs, and benches for owners to keep watch over their pets. A dog wash station is located just outside the exercise area.

On Saturday, February 19, we will have a drive-thru Pet Food Pantry at RARA from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m or until food runs out. Please stay in your cars, follow instructions of the volunteers, and maintain social distancing.

Rockbridge Animal Alliance is thrilled to be able to offer this service to the community and to partner with RARA for distribution. RARA believes that everyone deserves nutritious food and has meat and produce available at every distribution. They do not require an ID or proof of need, and they will not run out of food. If you could use a little extra help, stop by their drive-thru Food Pantry any time they are open.
