Alhambra Fish willing to make the changes to make our profession

There are some great examples related to each one of these occurring under our current sheriff. DeCoste knows exactly what I am talking about as we discussed it numerous times during the executive session with the commissioners the first of January. DeCoste also knows that officer safety was non existent when he hired me and this was also confirmed at the tragic shooting that occurred in Big Springs in 2015 where no lessons were learned. I will be discussing that at greater length in a later post.

We have a saying in Law Enforcement, If you do not understandembrace that the profession is constantly changing and not willing to make the changes to make our profession better, it is time to put your badge and gun on the table and move on. It does not matter how big or small a jurisdiction is some changes are good and some are not. You have to work within the framework of the law no matter what the law is.
