Grab your masks and beads because were celebrating in style with a fully decked-out float parade led by the Krewe Du Cirque of Foley, as well as a colorful second line. Join us at OWA on Joe Cain Day Feb. 27 for a Mardi Gras parade and party you wont want to miss.
The epic celebration begins at 2pm with a free live concert on OWA Island by Black Water Brass Band, an 8-piece New Orleans style funk and jazz band. Plus, well have fun kids activities, a photo booth and a face painter. Head to the OWA Island at 4PM to check out Doctor Zarrs Amazing Funk Monster, a high energy cover band direct from Memphis, TN.
Starting at 6pm, floats will travel the streets of Downtown OWA while partygoers line the sidewalks catching swag from above. And thats not the only parade happening that night! Whether youre riding on a float or watching from the street, either way, you can be a part of our second line parade on foot as we extend the fun with a special walking parade!
