Corona Fishing collected will be donated to these local charities

St. Monica Guild of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pass Christian announces its 2022 Silver Valentine Tea. Established in 1931, this special event is in its 92nd year and is a beloved tradition in the Pass Christian community. It was held virtually in 2021 due to the corona virus, so the organizers are looking forward to hosting this popular fund-raiser in person again on Friday, February 11, from 3-5 p.m.

The Silver Valentine Tea is being hosted this year by Martha and David Cordell whose home is located at 549 East Scenic Drive in Pass Christian. The elegant home was designed by noted architect Davis L. Jahncke, Jr. in the style of an 1890s coastal home. With its 12-foot ceilings and spacious rooms, the home looks old and historic but was completed in January 2018.

The Silver Valentine Tea is the annual fundraiser of St. Monicas Guild of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pass Christian. All monies collected will be donated to these local charitiesDonations are gratefully accepted to support the local charities listed above, and a Donation bowl will be placed in the homes foyer to receive visitors contributions. Refreshments at the Silver Valentine Tea will consist of sweet and savory homemade treats, coffee, tea, and wine. All Coast residents as well as tourists are invited to attend. In an effort to protect the homes floors, visitors are asked to please not wear spike heels.
