Fair to say, not many 15 year olds are interested in local politics, know who our council members are, let alone whos running. My son though, IS ALL IN! One of the very BEST impacts of running, being elected to city council, has the been the positive awareness on local issues, politics for my son. Hes engaged, passionate! Setting an example of being aware, engaged, active in his community, has is the BEST perk of this position.
Just pulled down 9 years of my life from the attic... So damn PROUD of the work weve all done together the experience this community gave me. This pile of signs reminds me that we didnt need any elitist politician endorsements or heavily funded PAC money. We were all grass roots!!!
When developers wouldnt let us put signs out, we vinyl wrapped 30 cars drive around their land. When the status quo said I could never do it, I pushed harder harder. We changed the entire political game in Folsom w the Fresh Face for Folsom campaign. To all the candidates running for 2020, you dont need the PAC money the only endorsement you need to earn, is the residents of Folsom
