Chester accounting principled and ethical fiscal policies

Joshua Twersky is seeking reelection to Concord Township Council. Josh was elected to Council in 2017 for a two-year term and has already proven himself as an informed, articulate, reasonable -- yet tough-as-nails -- advocate for our community. Josh believes that the citizens of Concord should know the inner workings of their local government and have an opportunity to be a part of discussions. Josh is a strong proponent of principled and ethical fiscal policies and has fought to reduce taxes. Most importantly, Josh has constantly voiced a need to update the obsolete land-use plan for the township in order to reign in out-of-control development and to promote open space.

Josh was born and raised in Havertown, right here in Delaware County. Joshs father was a Certified Public Accountant CPA, and his mother was a public school teacher. When he was 14 years old, Josh got a job as a mail clerk at a CPA firm, where he found his passion for accounting, following in his fathers footsteps. After graduating from public high school, Josh attended the police academy, graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and was later licensed as a CPA.

Josh has been married to his wife, Vicki, for 18 years. Vicki grew up in Concord and graduated from Garnet Valley High School. Josh and Vicki have two wonderful daughters, Lily and Julia, who also attend Garnet Valley schools. Both girls are active field hockey players and dance at KICKS Academy of Dance in Concord. Josh and Vicki work together at Joshs CPA firm.
