Oklahoma City accounting intern at Cherokee Nation Entertainment

Joshua Sam is the son of Henry Tubby Sam and Teresa Eubanks Sam. His late grandparents are Henry Sam and Nellie Bonnie Duncan Sam and Troy Dooger Eubanks and Charlotte Tot Eubanks. Joshua was born at Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah and raised in Stilwell, Oklahoma his entire life. Joshua married Jessica Bruner in June of 2010, and together they have 3 children Skyler, Scarlett, and Saydee. They live in the TitanicSpade Mountain area. Their children attend Zion Public School, where Jessica also works. As a family, they attend Christian Worship Center in Stilwell.

Joshua attended Maryetta Public School from Kindergarten through Junior High and went on to graduate from Stilwell High School. After graduation, Joshua attended Northeastern State University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Finance as a first-generational college student. Joshuas professional career started in 2012 as a Retail Accounting intern at Cherokee Nation Entertainment when still enrolled at NSU.

He then accepted a full-time position for Cherokee Nation Businesses within the Accounts Payable department. After graduating from NSU, he was promoted to an Accountant with the Cherokee Nation Financial Resources department. Joshua concluded his professional career with Cherokee Nation as a Senior Gaming Auditor within the Tribes Gaming Commission department in 2017. Joshua is currently employed as Vice President at Carson Community Bank utilizing skill sets learned from his education and career to provide services to his customers.
