Davis cars need to educate and enforce the driving speed limits

Walkers and cars. People should be able to walk or run on town roads with their family without fear of being run over. We need to educate and enforce the driving speed limits. Other towns have faced this problem and solved it. I will help find best practices that are appropriate for Walden. But we can make Walden safe for walking, running and cycling.

Town website. An improved website. Town documents historic to the present available. Zonin ordinances. Maps of walking trails. Live steam of the W road conditions. Calendar of events for McCoy, Bachman, Pumpkin Patch, Waldens Ridge Civic League, community work days.

Beautifying Walden with more small flower beds. There are several that have gone out of existence that could be brought back and others started. Small native species or other appropriate flowers at focal points throughout Walden. This becomes part of the culture of the town. Think of any beautiful small town that you have visited and enjoyed. Lets gather ideas.

Greenway trail system. Start by linking Pumpkin Patch and McCoy. We can make this a priority. The town owns other property and there are unopened roads. Make those foot paths. There are also existing trails in different places that could be connected. The point is we can get energized and have people work on this project together. Map out a foot path system so that we can safely enjoy Walden.
