Jacksonville accounting Controller who is responsible for billing

The office is located in the MandarinBeauclerc area of Jacksonville. Occasional visits to Beaches, St. Augustine, and Fleming Island offices may be required. Hours are from 830 a.m. to 500 p.m. Ansbacher Law is a tobacco-free environment. The Office Manager will be a direct report to the firms Managing Partner and will work parallel to the Controller who is responsible for billing and accounting. The Office Manager will share responsibility with the Managing Partner, and Controller for budgeting.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage day-to-day operations of the law firm 10 lawyers 20 support team.
Assist in overseeing and evaluating employee benefits and insurance.
Schedule and coordinate employees calendars, coverage, absences, and duties.
Operate a variety of standard office machines, including a computer, copier, fax, scanner, and others.
Help oversee office technology functionalities including computers, and phone systems in coordination with IT Director.
Manage employee benefits and attendance.
Employee performance evaluation.
Maintain effective working relationships with all members of the firm.
Interact with the accounting department managed by the Controller.
Assist with full-cycle recruiting new hires terminations.
Managing employee conflict.
Update and ensure compliance with Employee Handbook and other firm procedures.
Manage overall employee relations with fairness and kindness.
Oversight of support staff and workflow.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Provide daily updates and input to the firms Managing Shareholder.
Assist with firm marketing, client development, website and social media presence, and community engagement.
Assist with facility management, including offices and equipment.
