Buffalo Cleaning confidence as they overcome their fears

Along with the sense of peace and purpose that comes with helping animals, your work here will truly matter! The animals who live on the farm have been rescued from various situations including abuse and neglect. You will be an important step in their journey to wellbeing and will experience the joy of seeing them learn trust and confidence as they overcome their fears.

The basic duties of the job include feeding and watering, distributing hay, cleaning pens and other care and maintenance as required. You will be taking care of a wide variety of animals including horses, donkeys, cows, water buffalo, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, pigs, emus, and other types of birds.

We need reliable, kind and compassionate people who are not afraid of hard work. You will be outside in the elements, heat and cold, rain and snow. You will need to be able to perform strenuous duties including lifting and other physical labor. Previous experience with animals is preferred but not required.

We are funded solely by donations, and as such we are currently offering 13 per hour for these positions. While you will not get rich working here, your life will be enriched by working among the beautiful animals who live at the sanctuary.
