The role of the Accounts Payable Associate position involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the accounting department. The role is to complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments in addition to processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
Pay invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling and preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payment.Maintain strong vendor relationships through effective and responsive communication.

Strategically work with employees and vendors to resolve invoicing, receiving, and purchase order discrepancies.Provide excellent customer service by building and maintaining relationships, supporting and interacting with various levels of management to ensure high customer service levels both internally and externally.

Obtain revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges and refunds, preparing and mailing invoices, and identifying delinquent andor insufficient payments.Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments.Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
