On June 29th, the village president said ending our contract with Real Racine was a legal step we had to do for us to be able to go through our strategic planning process.A false statement - not true at all - there is no such requirement.
However, late last night, the village president offered up a decidedly different reason on Facebook for cancelling the Real Racine contract after the board got an earful on Monday night.Nearly every publication weve ever seen from Real Racine highlights exactly what they do with the money, as well as what the return on investment for those dollars are.
The fact they are commenting on social media is significant. That their comments are inconsistent and conflict with previous statements is typical of people who either have no idea why they doing what they are doing, or they cant get their story straight. Maybe both.
