University Place accounting background checks and related processes

The HR Director serves in a senior leadership role and is responsible for overseeing HR systems, handling employee relations, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing budgets, assessing staffing needs, hiring employees, designing training programs, developing compensation and benefit plans and creating a company culture of excellence and safety. This position reports to the Executive Director.

Manages the recruitment process in collaboration with Hiring Managers to prepare an effective recruitment strategy for each vacancy.Trains Hiring Managers in the interview process to ensure interviews are done in a behavioral type format and all interview notes are documented correctly and turned in in after the interviews.

Manages the background checks and related processes are completed in a timely and legally sound basis.Monitors employee turnover and retention rates to help identify areas of concerns and to help attract exceptional employees.Ensures new hires complete all new hire paperwork accurately by the first day of employment.

Directs and coordinates the new employee orientation to ensure new staff are introduced to the mission, vision and values of Esperanza Shelter, company policies, procedures, organizational structure, benefits, history of Esperanza Shelter and organizational culture.
