Im Emily Baggett and I want to serve you as your next District Court Judge. Growing up, I learned my conservative Christian beliefs, the value of hard work, and service to others from my parents. My teachers at Decatur High instilled the value of service and excellence in all you do. After law school in 2003, I chose to come home to Morgan County. I became active in my church and community activities. My legal career has seen both sides of the law as a prosecutor and a defense attorney.

When I say I want to serve you, I truly mean it. My service to this community didnt begin when I started this campaign. My service started with the blood drives at Decatur High handing out newborn packets for PACT at Decatur General and Parkway Hospitals and serving on boards such as the Mental Health Association, Church Street Academy, and Court Appointed Special Advocates CASA of North Alabama. In recent years, I have focused my service on activities at my sons school and the needs of Veterans through the Travis Manion Foundation, Wreaths Across America, and GORUCK.

I want to serve as your next District Court Judge - Place 3 because I know the law and have the conviction to faithfully serve with the utmost integrity, grace, dignity, respect this position deserves. I ask for your vote on Tuesday, July 14th!
