So here we are. The topic for vote next Tuesday is the budget being proposed for Pattis Super Warehouse 750 bed shelter. Im hearing that Patti has backed away from his concept but I havent heard anything public from him that would indicate otherwise. Plus, backroom deals are just poor democracy. Transparency Patti! Plus, anything of this size needs community input and while I respect those who feel that there needs to be action yesterday, with Zoom and modern technology, its extremely easy to give the community a voice. And lets not kid ourselves, Patti just arbitrarily reduced your constitutional rights by limiting your correspondence to 100 characters. Is this the acts of a person that wants to hear from the community?
