Vista cars follow instructions of the volunteers

On Saturday, February 19, we will have a drive-thru Pet Food Pantry at RARA from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m or until food runs out. Please stay in your cars, follow instructions of the volunteers, and maintain social distancing.

RARAs parking lot will not open until 9 a.m. and all cars will go through the same line. We appreciate your patience as we try to help as many people as we can.

The Pet Food Pantry is open to residents of Rockbridge County, Lexington, and Buena Vista, and follows RARAs eligibility requirements. The pet food is meant to help, but is not enough to fully support your pets. We will have limited supplies.

Rockbridge Animal Alliance is thrilled to be able to offer this service to the community and to partner with RARA for distribution. RARA believes that everyone deserves nutritious food and has meat and produce available at every distribution. They do not require an ID or proof of need, and they will not run out of food. If you could use a little extra help, stop by their drive-thru Food Pantry any time they are open.
