From when the US Government kicked Native Americans off of their traditional wintering and fishing homes along the fifty miles of River that run through Hanford, Native Americans have borne the brunt of contamination, deliberate exposure and racism. Now, in 2019 and 2020, the Trump Administration and USDOE plan to leave radioactive and chemical wastes right alongside the River in areas that the Yakama Nation

Nez Perce and Umatilla Nations are supposed to be guaranteed treaty rights to return to live along, fish, gather resources, visit graves and religious sites.
