Rancho Cucamonga house passing propositions and taxes without ever

Hello, my name is Manuel and I am voting to reduce the County Board of Supervisors Compensation in November. This is my story as a citizen of the County. I was born in Mexico in 1952 in a small town in Northern Mexico. My father realized after we were born that there really was no future from us there, so he decided to come across the border to see if he could better our lives.

He came to America in 1957 because there were a lot of laborer jobs during that time. He was a carpenter in Mexico but got a job on the Southern Pacific railroad and he kept that same job all his life. He got all of us papers, visas, and green cards and brought his family across the border to live in California in the area of Echo Park, Los Angeles. Back in that time, it was very rough with a lot of gangs but I graduated high school and joined the National Guard and completed my 6 years. After my time in the National Guard,

They are passing propositions and taxes without ever giving the people an opportunity to vote. Who honestly knows what they are doing, so that doesnt give me much confidence in our county leaders. For the amount of work our County Board of Supervisors does, it should be a part-time job, they arent even working full time. I dont think its fair what they are making. Look at the good-paying jobs here in the county, they are paying 70,000 for highly educated and skilled programmers. 240,000 is far too much money for what they are doing and its excessive. I will be voting to reduce the County Board of Supervisors compensation in November.

Our elected officials in San Bernardino County say a lot of great things and promise to do a lot of wonderful things but once they get elected they pretty much do what they want to do. For example, who is monitoring them? Are they campaigning when they are supposed to be at work? Are they keeping timecards? Who decides how much they should be paid? They are making over 200,000 per year and they keep giving themselves raises.
