Jacksonville doctor working with a lot of stroke victims

Whats up Jacksonville? Heres something you might not know about me. What Im about to share changed the course of my life. Its also a BIG reason why Im committed to helping families in our local community.

I grew up in Florida and I was always into sports and outdoor activities. As a teenager I worked in a warehouse for a physical therapy company. At a very young age I was exposed to different types of health care including, physical therapy, chiropractic, and orthopedics. I decided I would go to school to become a physical therapy assistant.

When I was going to school, I was working with a lot of stroke victims, lifting and transferring the patients. One day when I was lifting someone, I hurt my back and was in serious pain for 8-9 months. I had sciatica problems, it was excruciating. I even tried sleeping over a couch just to try to separate the vertebrae to provide some sense of relief. It was the only way I could sleep. I tried everything from cortisone injections, anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxers but the pain never went away.

That summer I graduated from physical therapy assistant school and then moved to Atlanta to go to chiropractic school. Ive been a chiropractor ever since 1993 and I love it. This is what I was born to do. Ive dedicated my life to those who have been injured. Its not your fault and you dont have to live in pain.
