Aurora Fishing these meetings I heard about the waterfront

The day before I announced my campaign for NYS Assembly back in May I toured all 30 towns in the District. In Evans I sat down with Town Supervisor Mary Hosler. A few weeks later I met with residents of Angola and Derby. At all of these meetings I heard about the waterfront and about issues like those facing Sturgeon Point. Fighting for our land and natural resources is central to my campaign and the shoreline south of Buffalo matters!

NYS will be investing millions into projects at Canalside and other points on the Lake Erie shoreline. Meanwhile, Sturgeon Point Marina, owned by the Town of Evans, has a critical need for work in order to be kept as a port for fishing vessels, recreational boaters and others who enjoy our precious lake.

Its very simple. We need elected officials who will work together to find solutions to problems like the ones we see at Sturgeon Point. Our regional infrastructure cant wait.And what does working together look like? It means showing up. It means being present. It means talking to the people who are closest to the issue, listening to what they have to say, and making realistic plans to fix things.

Those fixes dont happen overnight, but weve got to start somewhere. With a vote for me on November 6, you will have a representative who shows up. Youll have a voice in government that is present for discussions with local leaders and for the votes that establish policies and state investments that help our struggling local economies.
