Sometimes there is drug and alcohol use happening in broad daylight. Sometimes I get yelled at for being too close to their camp, ironically on space that we fund with our ever raising property taxes. I certainly have compassion for people who are struggling to get back on their feet. But sometimes I see drug paraphernalia including hypodermic needles, human feces, and other waste that should not be where my dog sniffs.
