Now I know what you are thinking that makes this Texas travel somewhere other than Texas? Well, we love our wonderful condition, but sometimes we know that you want to change the pace to see something different.
So when we were invited to visit Orange County, we realized why Californians don't visit us in Texas.
So why don't we check out Orange County in their state? California attracts millions of visitors every year, and the beaches and Disneyland are certainly popular.
Southern California isn't just surf sand, and Mickey, our first stop on this trip, was our home away from home.
On the Avenue of the Arts, a hotel in Costa Mesa, south of Los Angeles, welcome to my crib, you're all home for one week. Okay, this is what the Avenue of Arts looks like.
The hotel has a pretty cool vibe, but we have some work to do in the morning.
So I go to bed, see you early and bright, our first stop is Orange County Wine Park, just five miles from Disneyland and ten miles from Huntington Beach.

I know you are a busy woman and you could just feel the love and how special it is, after which it was just a short drive to our next destination, Knox: The Berry Farm, this is California's first theme park and home of Snoopy and the Dozens of Peanuts Gang ...
The world-class attraction rides and shows a lot of people not knowing it, but no spray from was actually a small berry farm.
If your child is outgoing, the Buena Park Pirate Dinner is a must-have and a great excuse to dress up like a pirate.
Children have so many opportunities to take part in the show.
My son had to put on a life jacket and dash around the pirate ship in a small boat, and making silly faces is part of the pirate competition.
Dinner consists of three courses. There is an option to start with a super salad, for adults, there was a quarter of the main course: chicken, mashed potatoes, and stewed vegetables.
They did a really good job with baby food.
My son got a plate of pasta and cheese, mashed potatoes, chicken nuggets, and melon.
In the end, we had enough time to take pictures with the Pirates.
