Dakota Ridge is located off of popular Lee Road on the far north side of Boulder Colorado. This neighborhood is one of the fastest-growing communities in the city and is absolutely gorgeous. The different home options in this community range from luxurious single-family homes to newly built townhomes and condos. The neighborhood features two nice parks with a breathtaking view of the Foothills. The Foothills trail can be picked up in the back of the development and makes for a wonderful additional space to play with the family.
This is one of my Favorite hikes! This hike is extra cool because of the Dinosaur fossils and tracks along Dinosaur Ridge. This hike is located near Golden, Colorado and is about 2.5 miles. Our adventure began on the Dinosaur Ridge tail, eventually passing by the Dakota Ridge Trailhead. ( I began filming at the Dakota Ridge Trailhead and part of Dinosaur Ridge on the way back down:) This hike had lots of spectacular sights! The trail goes along the hogback ridgeline, with Green Mountain on one side and Red Rocks on the other. We only hiked part of the Dinosaur Ridge trail, it does continue with more cool stuff to see!
