Fullerton is a city located in northern Orange County, California, USA According to the 2010 census, 135,161 people lived in the city.
Fullerton was founded in 1887. It defended the land on behalf of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroads. Historically it has been a center of agriculture, especially the Valencian orange and other citrus groves; oil production; transport; and production. Numerous institutions of higher education are located here, notably California State University, Fullerton, and Fullerton College.

California State University, Fullerton (CSUF or Cal State Fullerton) is a public university in Fullerton, California. With a total enrollment of over 41,000, it has the largest student body in the California State University (CSU) system with 23 campuses, and its graduate of over 5,000 is one of the largest at CSU and in all of California.
The university offers 109 degrees: 57 bachelor's degrees and 52 advanced degrees, including three doctorates.
The university is nationally accredited in the arts, athletic training, business, chemistry, communications, communication disorders, computer science, dance, engineering, music, nursing, government, public health, social work, teacher education, and theater.
