In 1810 Don Antonio Lugo received 29,514 acres. or about 49 square miles. They weren't sure who gave them, probably the Spaniards. Definitely not native to Tongwa. He named it Rancho San Antonio because it was given by his god during the time of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So Lugo didn't live on the ranch but stayed in Los Angeles. Where he ruled from 1816 to 1819. At the time, this area was still Mexican land. Then, in 1848, the United States and Mexico collapsed and the United States allowed Lugo to keep his land. When he died in 1860, his children divided the land. His daughter Guadalupe Lugo achieved what was not yet called Linwood. Later he passed this on to a guy named Heldman, we got nothing from him. Heldman gave it to a lady named Shields, Shields gave it to a banker named Slauson, who was a big dog in the early days of Los Angeles and even named a street after him. Weird things are happening here, and I'm not sure that anything will change. Later, a guy named Sessions took over (probably from Slauson) about 400 acres of land to sell milk and dairy products. His wife's name was Lynn, and her maiden name was Wood. They gained trust and named their company "Lynwood Dairy and Creamery". Later, trains poured muddy mud at each other and pulled railroad tracks everywhere. In 1929, Henry Huntington's Pacific Electric Railroad built a railroad depot near the Linwood Dairy Plant, and it was here that Linwood Station was born. Good. Later people from the rest of the country wanted our oranges, and I thought, "Oh, we definitely love all the Hollywood they have," and seven guys formed the "Lynwood Company" and started demolishing houses all over Lynwood. ... These lots sell for between $ 500 and $ 800. So people moved to the districts and started living in houses. Thus, Black began to gain upward mobility, while White said, “NO! And it jumped. Then the Latino kids started to move, and the blacks started to feel the jolt, and we got the blue line where we were involved in the LA riots, and now we see a little gentrification going around the corner, and there is a good chance that Future Lynwood could become one of the largest marijuana growers in Southland.
