It's where I went to elementary school for all six years. This is where I went to middle school for just the seventh grade. This is where I went to middle school for eighth grade, where I went to high school for all four years.
This is where I went to college for two years before going to Cal Poly, but I don't live in Salinas anymore shortly after being down at Cal Poly.
I moved out here to Southern California to start my career and become a boring adult you can see.
I suck at being an adult because I have a messy table. The dishes are clean, but I have no furniture yet and I don't have a recycling bin, but this video isn't about me.
I just wanted to give you guys a bit of history on me and so that way you know that was raised as leanness know what it's like, and you know, there's usually not some good things going on. Give you a tad bit more details after graduation.
I had two months of a break before I started my job here, so I decided to do is make like sort of a positive project on Salinas while learning something in the process, and so I chose videos, video editing and what I did was.
I divided this into four different categories that you'll see and I met random strangers, sort of to prove a point and see whether or not you can meet positive, happy people in this town.
I think you can um, and so I asked them what they thought or how they felt about Salinas and to answer it in a very short amount of time. So that way it felt more natural and from the heart, and I got some really cool responses on Espanol. So then I was also able to get him to Gato's mignon.
I was able to get a pretty diverse group of people which is a great hit that post on my nose, Claudia that is so remember, four different areas of Salinas question is: what do you think or how do you feel about Salinas, [, Music ] talk to some Folks, some good times to be an ad: this is the Student Center.
I'm gonna go in there and should be really cracking. If not, I'm gonna walk around everywhere in the locations in the background will just be the hella random, all right time to walk around and start talking to people.
Let's go, and I believe Salinas is a great town. There are some improvements that need to be made, but so I think it's pretty time I gotta say. Is I like Sonny's I'd love Salinas, I'm going to do second-generation yeah, I'm happy with the community.
I think I was, a very diverse city and the weather screen. It's very dangerous out here in the streets.
You know lived here all my life, so it's kind of boring after 18 years.
Most of the stuff to do here is kind of boring that kind of gets pushed to the side, but if you compare it to the other cities around it, I think it's doing pretty well, and I have good hopes for what's to come.
