Thank you to Governor Kevin Stitt for signing HB1877, requiring more rigorous steps in prevention of antipsychotic medication misuse in Oklahoma assisted living facilities and long-term care centers. Special thanks to Tammy West House 84 and Senator Bill Coleman for authoring this bill which protects residents from the over-prescription of antipsychotic drugs, as well as keeping loved ones informed of treatments being utilized in these facilities.Meloyde Blancett serves Tulsans in District 78 as their elected representative in the Oklahoma State House. Voters most recently re-elected Meloyde in November 2018. She is serving her second consecutive term as their representative and is seeking a third term in November 2020.With generations of ag producers in my family, I am grateful to get the support of the Oklahoma Cattlemans Association. OCA is a great organization in Oklahoma working to advance and defend ag producers. To all of you in agriculture, thanks for enduring the COVID crisis and every other natural disaster, to put Oklahomas food on the table. Hats off to you!
