FSM is responsible for the management and execution of safety related programs and behavior throughout the organization. They will ensure compliance with all regulated standards including DOT and FMCSA. The FSM will work cross functionally to create a culture of safety throughout the company. They will work with a team of safety professionals to ensure best in class safety programs, processes, training, and procedures are in place using data, hands on experience and creativity. The FSM position will report directly to the VP of Safety.Develop a Culture of Safety throughout the organizationResponsible for the development of Owner-operator safety training, accident prevention, field safety campaigns, owner-operator orientationWork with VP of safety performing weekly on-site visits to agents and OOsFacilitate improvement plans and processesWork directly with VP of Safety to execute new training and safety programsProvide weekly updates to Senior ManagementWork with Management to establish retention programs for all levels of customer serviceTravel 7-9 days per month in established regionExperience in Owner-Operator model5-10 years hands on experienceAbility to communicate across multiple levels of organizationProven leadership skills and knowledge of DOT Safety Regulations and StandardsCompany has a full compensation plan including insurance, vacation and pay commensurate to experience.
