Their essential role provides routine field and laboratory test and inspections for the purpose of verifying compliance to construction plans and specifications.Technicians provide daily field and testing reports for each site visit, making verbal and written communication essential for this job. The ability to read and understand construction plans is a bonus but not necessary for an entry-level position.Our representatives are thoroughly trained utilizing both internal and industrial leading training programs. TTLs Nashville office maintains a full-service laboratory that is CCRL, AASHTO, and USACE accredited to perform industry standardized tests of construction materials including soils, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete.This position is generally full time, with a typical work schedule of 7AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday. Hours will regularly be adjusted to meet construction schedules of clients and may include weekend, late night, andor early morning work.Daily travel to and from project sites, generally within 50 miles from the home office, is expected. Short term, out-of-town work, typically lasting less than 2 weeks, is possible. Long term, out-of-town assignments could be required with advance notice of planned dates.
