The 19th annual Northwest Arkansas Model Train Show is hosted by the Sugar Creek Model Railroad and Historical Society as a fundraiser for local charities. All work is done by volunteers.ADJUSTMENTS FOR COVID PRECAUTIONS Like last year, there will be no food or beverages sold indoors this year. A food truck will be parked out front for concessions. We will not be having our usual raffle and craftgame station to limit interactions and bottlenecks to the flow of traffic. We apologize that this will be a more streamlined event, but we hope to have some fun despite the circumstances!With over 10 operating toy train layouts, you can see trains of all gauges and sizes from the large Garden and Live Steamers to the smallest nano trains that fit in the palm of your hand!There will also be dozens of vendors with vintage and new trains for sale. And of course, Thomas the train and friends will be there for the kids to run Sanitizing stations required. So save the date and come have some family fun!Whether youre a model train collector and hobbyist looking to add pieces to your collection and layouts or a family looking for a fun way to spend the afternoon with your children, the NWA Model Train Show is guaranteed to be a good time for all!
