This week it is our pleasure to introduce our Joint-Secretary candidate, Nisha Tharayil Liz Jacob to the community. Nisha migrated from Hyderabad, India with her family to US in 1995 at age 12. After arriving in New York, she spend most of her years growing up in the east coast. Nisha did her schoolings in Pelham, NY and later went on to get a Bachelors degree in Corporate Finance and Accounting and Masters in Finance from Bentley University, Boston, MA.
On her professional side, Nisha is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant CPA and does consulting with large businesses and fortune 500 companies. She specializes in SOX implementation, Compliance and Audit requirements. On her personal side Nisha is married to Ranjit Tharayil Adichira, Kottayam and together they moved to Dallas, TX in 2013 from NY. They along with their kids Jason 6 Yrs. and Stella 2 Yrs. now call Plano, TX their home.
Right from a young age Nisha has been an active part of our church and community in NY. She was part of the liturgical committee and the choir at church under the tutelage of Fr. Joseph Sauriyamakil, and she continued with that ministry until she left for college. Nisha was an active participant in KCYL and was also the secretary of KCYL-NY. During her tenure as Secretary of KCYL-NY, she was actively involved in the KCYL NA Convention that took place in NY.
Together with the panel she represents, they share the same vision of bringing the next generation to the front stage and wants to take all initiative to engage with them closely to arrange and provide more venues for interactions to learn about our Knanaya tradition, our culture, discuss career pathgrowth and opportunities with them. We humbly request your support, prayers and blessings as we edge close to the election.
