Tracy travel I was made for more than this

Seven years ago I was sitting in the back of a conference as someone else gave my keynote. They were getting paid to speak. I was paying to hear them.I had dreamed of doing something big with my life but after grad school I fell into a career and woke up one day feeling it was too late to start over.

The truth I was made for more than this. As a corporate employee, I was stuck building someone elses vision and ignoring my own. I had an impressive job and was making good money. But I had stopped growing and could do my work in my sleep.

I was always the high-performing over-achiever type. If I have an idea, I go after it full-tilt. But if I didnt know where to start or I wanted to avoid failing I would stay in research mode.I listened to motivational podcasts, read self-help books, bought one-off certifications and courses and attended pricey self-discovery events.

None of them gave me long term clarity or confidence that I was on the right track. I figured I would grow out of it. I assumed it was boredom at work. But even after promotions and working more than ever I couldnt shake my dream.
