Union travel close enough to the State

Stop listening to this talk of Balancing the Budget being some big success, they legally cannot submit an unbalanced Budget, this is simply a part of the job, as it is not possible to not have a balanced Budget by law, it is not an achievement, it is a mandate.

We need to get Spending under control. The County Budget has gone up 84 over the terms of the current, and the past commissioners from District 5, Against inflation number of 13.4 in the same period. Was Right around 81 Million when they started with their fiscal responsibility, now it has balooned

Before these 2 Gentlemen started our Millage was just above 8.5 Mills. It is now over 9.5 Mills, and Peaked at 9.8. We are close enough to the State maximum, that if we had a real impacting item, like a Pandemic, then a Hurricane, we would be forced to stop funding several initiatives. We cannot cut the 3 pillars of local Government Police, FIREEMS, or Maintenance of existing infrastructure, as they already do not fund them with proper prioritization.

Port Authority, the last Budget for the port Authority on the County Website is from 2016 - 17. We are going into Fiscal year 2021 in a little over a month. Our current District 5 Commissioner operates and insulating Business whose biggest client is the shipyard who rents our Port facility. His Office trailer where he works is on their property,
