Key Responsibilities
Provide consultation and cut for children and adults using clippers, trimmers and scissors.
Ensure appropriate cleanliness of work areas and salon to State Board Standards.
Maintain and sanitize hair cutting tools and salon instruments to State Board Standards.
Successfully meet standards of our Shear Excellence, Quality Assurrance Program.
Perform Ear piercing following proper Studex procedures.
Provide formal updos and party hair styling in a timely fashion.
Perform reception duties when appropriate or required.
Sell and support salons retail and hair care products.
Provide advice to families regarding hair products and care.
Train newly hired hair stylists in a professional manner.
Maintain a positive relationship with families in order to ensure they return.
Create ease and fun for children who are nervous.
Build rapport with peers to make an upbeat environment for everyone.
Follow Company policies and procedures.
