New York salon making beautiful images

I grew up in the Gulfshores area where I developed my talent in photography. I was obsessed with portraiture which lead me to pursue my degree in the fine arts. In my small town the only photography making the kind of money I wanted to make was wedding photography and that just wasnt my gig, so I decided to go to school for cosmetology. It was at the Aveda Institute in Birmingham that discovered my talent and calling to do hair. I started getting involved with social and saw an amazing opportunity to build an online portfolio that would attract clients and brands to work with me. I dedicated photo time for every client and in all that practice I saw a way to also incorporate my love for making beautiful images.

Fast forward 6 years and Id like to think Ive done a lot. I like to credit much of my success to putting myself out there and chasing every opportunity. 3 years ago I opened my own salon with hopes to bring a safe place to my town for people of all walks of life. Little did I know Id be fighting a pandemic. Even though I was scared my business would fail, I fought to see us through. Since I started doing hair Ive been nominated for a btc oneshot award, been a product tester and educator for an international brand, hired on as an influencer for an amazing new company, worked on countless photo shoots, as wells as shows like Birmingham fashion week, Nick Aarojs platform show and most recently Tiffany Brown Designs, LAgence, Flying Solo and hITeCHmODA for New York fashion week. This is only the beginning! I want to be a world renowned artist like a Pat McGrath to the cosmetology industry, whose to say thats too daring?!
