Troy accounting intern at Cherokee Nation Entertainment

Maryetta Public School from Kindergarten through Junior High and went on to graduate from Stilwell High School. Upon graduation, Joshua was accepted to attend Northeastern State University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Finance as a first-generational college student. Joshuas professional career started in 2012 as a Retail Accounting intern at Cherokee Nation Entertainment when still enrolled at NSU.

He then accepted a full-time position for Cherokee Nation Businesses within the Accounts Payable department. Upon graduating from NSU, he was offered a position within the Cherokee Nation Financial Resources department as an Accountant. Joshua concluded his professional career with Cherokee Nation as a Senior Gaming Auditor within the Tribes Gaming Commission department in 2017. Joshua is currently employed as Vice President at Carson Community Bank utilizing skill sets learned from his education and career to provide services within various operational roles within the bank.

The heart to serve started early as Joshua found happiness with serving the Adair County community through many of his High School leadership classes, coaching local youth sports for over 15 years, and volunteering for the local Boys and Girls throughout college. This has led him to currently serve as President-Elect for the local Kiwanis Club, Treasurer for the Stilwell Chamber of Commerce, board member for Boys and Girls Club, and serving as the President of the local youth soccer club.
