There is also a beautiful cobbled beach walk along South Beach for cyclists and pedestrians alike, see the Art Deco Historic District, where you will not only see the colorful architecture you will likely see classic Chevy classic cars. on the road as we go. On the coast there are many resorts such as the Loews Miami Beach. South Beach ends here and Mid Beach begins at approximately 23rd Street. Mid Beach is populated with upscale, modern and stylish condos, bars and sophisticated restaurants. North Beach is more low-key and has a quiet residential area with mid-century hotels, nature trails, and native trees. Upon returning to the mainland, the subway stops in the sky at the Coconut Grove Museum and Gardens. The Disgaea Museum Gardens are one of Miami's top tourist spots. Just east of downtown, on the Miami River, is Bricks, a whole man-made island with amazing condos miles west of downtown Coral. Gables is home to the University of Miami and the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens, also known for its tree-lined boulevards, ivy-covered mansions, and historic landmarks like the Biltmore Hotel and the Venetian Pool built in the 1920s.
