what's going on everybody this is Jeff with living in Arizona and today we are going to explore Tucson Arizona the home of the Padres the old Catholic missionaries who came through here when it was Old Mexico or New Mexico area kinda New Spain is as you know Arizona used to be part of Spain
so this is the Tucson old walled city if
you don't know the nickname of Tucson it
is actually called the Old Pueblo so
we're gonna explore this downtown area
like I said this is kind of the old
settlement right here and we're gonna
walk around there's the city hall and
see what Tucson has to offer so let's go
ahead and get started
walk around get old Tucson Arizona so
this is the exchange at Presidio this is
a monument for the Mormon Battalion that
entered Tucson on 16 December 1846 then
route to San Diego so you can see here's
more of the downtown area city center
and you've got quite a bit of history
down here
but nowadays not too much commerce goes
on down here you go that way actually
that is where the University of Arizona
is the Wildcats and you have a couple
other monuments over here this is for
World War two
so keep this thing going
yeah so we're on Congress and Church
Avenue walking past a couple of these
pubs you had street tacos right here

yeah and then and now so I mean I guess
this is a little bit of a sense of what
the nightlife may be on a Friday or
Saturday or even if you
some baked fresh bagels
so we cross right here
the more action over here
so here we are on Broadway and you can
see there is some urban renewal taking
place on stone Avenue and Broadway
you've got health on Broadway which also
looks like it's a an apartment complex
apartment complex and you have urban
flats rendezvous right here this
building under construction so there is
a little bit of urban renewal taking
place here
and we're eventually going to keep
walking
down towards this church looking area
we could yeah let's cross right here

do have a light rail here
which we'll see every once in a while
down here yeah I mean
